Should i upgrade to 3.55 ps3

Re: PS3 GB slim - 3. To update just run the installer like any other update from USB. I won't be of much help here since my PS3 has full PS2 hardware BC so everything works fine but for your slim I think you need some kind of launcher or a converter or something.

Wow your ps3 still runs well, the early versions of the xbox and ps3 seemed notorious for breaking down. Enable Cobra and Webman. No launchers or anything. Access Webman then Webman Settings, refresh xml and games list. But seriously, how about that cross-game voice chat? Fenrir December 6, at pm PST. Trixzter7 December 6, at pm PST. XxDeathDoctorxX shut up. Get off this site you pathetic troll. Dont waste my time and bandwidth sony, at least add a feature. Zinacef December 6, at pm PST. Very concise! Whatever happened to the GOOD updates?

You know, the ones that actually add features we want? Wow, amazing. People have been asking for certain features for years now, and you intentionally ignore them. Yet a firmware is jailbroken and bam, within 72 hours a new firmware rolls out. Why not show such enthusiasm for other features? Kamiboy December 6, at pm PST.

Link01 December 6, at pm PST. Good for the security… but you guys are a little over due for a big update, no offense. Please add full MKV support. Keysersoze December 6, at pm PST. Boooooo Boooooooo. Was expecting more to be honest.

They have not been banning anybody from PSN at all, some people got banned from black ops servers but that was for cheating in-game, I don't think you need to worry. Digital Tench Banned. Format the disk and you will be fine. I dont really want to format it as I have some games purchased from PS Store and my game saves, but I havent been banned and didnt cheat in black ops but appearently sony might 'brick' or 'ban' your PS3 so you cannot go online..

I think ill stick to OFW unless it becomes as well made as the iPhone ones. Axum Distinguished Member. There's a vast difference between "brick" and "ban", the former meaning your PS3 will no longer work at all I'm sure the fact they've not banned anyone as yet, they may not go down that route at all, seeing as you can't go onto PSN and you may not be able to again although there's talk that you can at the moment, but using a real convoluted method which I'm not sure even works , may well mean that you're safe As Axum has said its looking less likely that the banhammer is inbound, I certainly wouldn't think your at any risk of Sony "bricking" your console though.

Tomkx Standard Member. Theres a tool floating about on the net which erases all history of jb. Can't think what its called at the mo. It will keep your ps3 safe. Tomkx said:. Click to expand Considering the trouble Sony seem to have keeping people off PSN that don't have the correct firmware, I really wouldn't be too afraid of being banned after going legit!
