When is zeta day

Plus, it is always a beautiful way to express gratitude for our wonderful fraternity. Step Three Be prepared for all of the pictures. Zetas take advantage of every opportunity to capture moments that will last a lifetime. You may not be in college anymore, you may not be in the same state as your initiated chapter, but there is always a sense of belonging when you walk into a Zeta Tau Alpha celebration.

Hear the Call During Zeta Day By Ashley Moseley, Contributing Writer enmuzta On the morning of Zeta Day, every woman has her three essentials for the event: a cute badge-attire outfit, a trendy clutch to put her raffle money in, and most importantly, the turquoise blue and steel grey pledge pin or badge of Zeta Tau Alpha. Pictured: Florida Zeta Day For each woman attending a Zeta Day event, here are a few ways you can get the most out of your day celebrating our sisterhood and the accomplishments we have made in the past year: Step One Put your best foot forward prior to reaching the event.

Zeta's traditional symbol is the bunny. This is used by most chapters but is not a national symbol. Our Flower is White Violet which grows in abundance in Virginia. Our Patron Goddess is Themis. Themis is also the name of our national magazine which every initiated member receives quarterly. Zeta Tau Alpha is known as a fraternity, not as a sorority.

A "sorority" is an organization whose members have banded together for reasons of common interest and mutual benefit. There is usually some element of secrecy in its design.

The terms "sorority" and "fraternity" are often used interchangeably, frequently due to necessity. Some women's organizations prefer "sorority", while others designate the use of "fraternity". It was the intent of the Founders and confirmed by action at two early conventions that Zeta Tau Alpha be designated as a "fraternity".

What better day than Oct. Do I have to donate using one of the pre-selected amounts on the Donate page? No amount is too small or too large for the Day of Giving.

We value every donation. If you don't want to cover the fees, just click "change" at the fee line to change this option. Will my donation count towards my annual and lifetime giving? Of course! All donations apply to your total giving for the current fiscal year, ending July 31, , and to your Lifetime Giving.

You can see your Lifetime Giving amount by reviewing your profile on Sisters Only. Please allow 2 to 3 days for your donation to show in Sisters Only. Your gifts also help us continue to support our efforts with breast cancer education and awareness, not just in October, but throughout the year.
