So it sound like you just loosing interest and that happens for everyone. I believe what you got is called a burnout it happens when you played too much and i think i know some of the reasons you took a break. Getting older is something you dont see instantly and not bring directly into games over night.
But your mind will change in a sneaky pace else you would see 90 old People playing wow, which is rare seen. But of cause you will properly get some haters posting that it has nothing to do with age, and that it must be the game that sux. Take it or leave it, only you know why you play less. I started playing wow first time already back in vanilla. Played until cata end. Thats when I took my first break. Sadly I missed mop that was apparently pretty good. I came back for wod, but that sucked so I came back only closer to legion release.
Then I played until bfa first patch when I became full casual as I am now. I dabble time to time, but its a snorefest. Next patch probably not going to peak your interest if this one is meh also. Is Shadowlands worth playing again?
